A Songwriter with Soul
With a knack for crafting songs that blend raw emotion with intricate musicianship, Jerry has established himself as a standout talent in Lubbock. His 2017 debut album, The Moon, showcases his unique storytelling style, earning him recognition among fellow musicians and fans alike. In 2015, he won the Blue Light Songwriter Competition, further cementing his reputation as a top-tier songwriter.
A Pillar of the Lubbock Music Community
Since 2016, Jerry has hosted Songwriter Night at The Blue Light Live, giving a stage to emerging songwriters and fostering a sense of community among local musicians. His dedication to lifting up others has made him a central figure in Lubbock’s thriving music scene.
A Multi-Talented Musician
Beyond his solo work, Jerry is a versatile instrumentalist, lending his skills on keyboards and trumpet to notable acts like Thrift Store Cowboys, Red Shahan, and Flatland Cavalry. He’s also a member of the jazz group Alma Quartet, whose 2015 album Solitude highlights his musical depth.

Jenni dale Lord
Part Texas, part Bakersfield, part old school and new, Jenni Dale Lord has created a style all her own, blending elements of country, rock, and blues into one tasty emulsification.
Jenni Dale Lord rocked the live music capital of the world, Austin, Texas, for over a decade, but has since returned to her roots in Lubbock to claim her place in the West Texas music scene. After years of writing music on her own, Jenni Dale rounded up a group of amazing musicians to take her songs and set them on fire. Their high-energy and heartstring-pulling show entertains audiences far and wide.The band includes acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, keys, and drums, but often brings in guest players and instruments.
With seven successful albums and several charted radio singles, including a duet with the incomparable Joe Ely, Jenni Dale Lord just released her eighth studio album, A Million Moments which features duets with Latin Grammy winner, Sunny Sauceda, and Texas Country star, Jerrod Medulla.
Recognized by the Texas Regional Radio Music Association, Jenni Dale Lord has received several nominations for New Female Vocalist of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year. She has also received multiple nominations for various publications, and recently took home the Female Artist of the Year award for the Texas Internet Radio Chart. She keeps getting better with time and has no intention of slowing down. Stay tuned.

Lubbock Legend D.G. Flewellyn
Lubbock singer-songwriter D.G. Flewellyn has earned respect from the city’s working musicians and enjoys an ever-increasing fan base.
Flewellyn has recorded and released four CDs – Comin’ Home, Nuclear Cookin’, House of Doom, and A Different Point of Blue.
He performs several times a week in local clubs, both as a solo act and as a guest member with other performers. More often than not, Flewellyn shares the spotlight with only his Martin 000 Orchestra acoustic guitar.
D.G. has performed solo and ensemble with a wide range of musicians, including Ian Moore, Lou Ann Barton, Acoustic Alchemy, The Flatlanders, David Halley, and Sonny Curtis. He also has performed for two United States presidents.
Kudos
Acclaimed guitarist John Sprott said Flewellyn’s strongest asset is his voice. “He has a really finely tuned sense of what is musically artful and germane,” Sprott said. “As a player, his classical/flamenco/folk finger-picking style is unique. I know of no one who does it better.”
An unexpected compliment from musician Lloyd Maines forced Flewellyn to accept: “I have my own sound.”
Musician Jesse Ballew said, “I don’t think I’ve ever heard an album recorded in Lubbock that sounds as good as D.G.’s ‘A Different Point of Blue.’ ”
Musician Stacy Bridges added, “D.G. is on the top shelf where local solo musicians are concerned. His original music is his calling card. (At his shows), I notice people requesting his original tunes by name and singing along. His CDs are in jukeboxes around town. It’s hard to argue with (that) kind of presence and visibility.”
